As approved in last board's meeting [0], CfP is extended until two weeks
before the conference, or until we fill all the slots (whichever happens
first). Please submit your talk proposals early!

Last two years we had lots of talks about new and fresh development and
we prioritized those over other kind of talks, as they had more
potential for discussions and hallway track. However, this year that
doesn't make too much sense, so we encourage our community to submit any
talk related to open-source graphics stack, including those that focus
on project status updates.

jacob would you like to put in something about Kazan? a 2nd talk, i think
it would be really important and also emphasising that Kazan's roadmap
includes being an architecturally independent software renderer (like
SwiftShader) but also includes a Shader Compiler.

regarding actually doing the talk i think it will be video submissions and
we can write everything out and read the words as the slides progress.  we
can work together to do a bit of editing and review and come up with
something.  i used kino, recently, it does the job.

sent you - Luke - for your corrections and augmentations a couple
weeks ago (I assume the work on the core made working on this
impossible) can be used as a basis/starting point for this
presentation.

pretty much - i'm not really able to "switch tasks" without dropping
significant working knowledge.  if i'm going to write a presentation
it needs to be done 100% focus, all in one hit, nothing else but that
for 1-2 days.
