register renaming to eliminate output and anti-dependences, i.e. WAW and
WAR hazards

also misleading in that it completely misses that the 6600 Q-Tables also
provide the concept of register renaming.

the Latches at the Function Unit are directly equivalent to RS Row latches
and are consequently "nameless registers".

hence you start to see why the Academic literature is hopelessly misleading
and why Mitch was pretty much compelled to write those two book chapters.
